Mountain Monarch

Pen & Ink. 16 x 20 inches (framed). I've never understood why anyone would not care for these masters of the mountain. I've always been impressed with their ability to navigate cliffs and virtually vertical walls of rock. This is one rendition of a simple ledge for a mountain goat to navigate.

Original pen & ink drawing. This guy looked pretty awesome hanging out on the end of the log, so I decided to see what the composition would look like if you couldn't tell what was under him. I think it looks rather precarious. Actual drawing size is approximately 5 x 8.
